Cid and Edea Kramer ![]()
Cid Kramer is Balamb Garden's resident headmaster and Quistis' boss. Unknown to Quistis, Cid has remained a constant within her life as a supervisor, a father-figure, and a link to her forgotten past. Edea on the other hand is also referred to as "Matron" in the game; she owned the orphange at which Squall, Seifer, Quistis, Zell, Irvine, Selphie, and herself resided in their childhood. For a portion of the game, her children were pitted against her because she was possessed by Sorceress Ultimecia, which caused a problem within the Gang. Should they continue fighting a sorceress, which they had been trained to do since adolescence, or should they continue fighting a mother? The group makes the decision to proceed as they had been doing, but after Edea regains her freedom back everything goes back to normal.
