Name I have always held a weird fascination with the Latin language, mainly because it sounds so darn cool. I find that using the words in any way, shape, or form makes you sound a bit more intelligent, so I tend to overuse words sometimes when naming my sites. Originally, my first Final Fantasy X-2 tribute was to Shuyin, which I had named Infinitus. However, my curiousity seemed to move from Shuyin to Gippal, and I thought it would be cool to have a brother site with a shrine name from the same language, and named it Imperator. (Unfortunately, I eventually completely lost interest in Shuyin and killed the site.)So what exactly does Imperator mean? Imperator is a Latin word that means commander in chief, general, emperor, or just in plain words, a leader. I'm not creative when it comes to using words and their definitions. I obviously chose it because Gippal is the leader of the Machine Faction, doing his Mr. Leader things his Mr. Leader ways... Return: Sitely |
