Gippal's Sphere

Like Nooj, Baralai, and Paine, Gippal has his own unique sphere. In order to get this sphere, you will need to complete the Mi'ihen Highroad Mystery with the suspect being Rin. The following steps will need to be taken in order for this to happen:

Chapter One:
Talk to the female Al Bhed (the one who asks you to ride the hover) at the southern end of the Mi'ihen Highroad.

Chapter Two:
Complete the "Cuckoo for Chocobos" mission in Mi'ihen Highroad and then go to the Travel Agency to see Rin exit.

Chapter Three:
Accept the "Machina Mayhem" mission at Mi'ihen Highroad. During this mission, dismantle seven machina. After completing the mission, Rin will be in the crowd of people that you see at the end. Then return and find Shinra along the Newroad. Talk to him and you will see a Commsphere he dropped.

Chapter Four:
There are several things you need to do:
      - view the Commsphere that Shinra dropped along the Mi'ihen Highroad. You will see Rin talking to an Al Bhed woman.
      - view all the other Commspheres and call Rin during a suspicious event. When he says "It seems we are getting to the heart of the matter", it means that you are closing to solving the mystery.
      - during the second part of the mystery, just view all the Commspheres and call him again when there are suspicious events.
      - this part is vital: first view the Commsphere at the Hover Crash Site to see a Commsphere malfunction. It might take two or three tries for you to see this. If this does happen, view another Commsphere but do not call Rin and then return to the Hover Crash Site Commsphere. Then view the Newroad Commsphere to see Rin near the crashed Hover. He will run to you when you call him and then run away.
      - then view a Commsphere where nothing is happening. Call Rin five times, and after that, Rin shouldn't be running to you anymore when you call him.

Chapter Five:
Go to Mi'ihen Highroad to complete the mystery.

Once you acquire the sphere, you will see that the sphere contains a scene between Auron and Gippal. During Final Fantasy X, Tidus and the gang get separated at Bikanel Desert. Before Auron finds Tidus, he happens to find Gippal and they have a conversation.

      Gippal: Just got a transmission. Apparently the Guado are conducting a manhunt nearby. Orders are to locate the summoner Yuna and kill her guardians. Maybe you want to lay low for a bit?
      Auron: That advice?
      Gippal: No, I just don't want you stirring them up. The temples are after me too.
      Auron: Then I apologize in advance.
      Gippal: You're fighting? I see. I'm tired of running from Yevon myself, and I have thought about fighting. I'd probably look like a jackass if I even suggested it.
      Auron: Only a jackass can change the world.
      Gippal: Huh. Good call.
      Auron then walks away and Gippal turns to the Al Bhed holding the Sphere Camera
      Al Bhed (in Al Bhed): What was that all about?
      Gippal (in Al Bhed): I'm going to go pick a fight with Yevon. Coming?
      Al Bhed (in Al Bhed): Sounds like fun.
      Gippal: Jackass.
      The Al Bhed receives a transmission with information
      Gippal: What is it?
      Al Bhed (in Al Bhed): Oh, no! The Guado! They are attacking Home!
